“Paradise citrus” (from the Latin) is the only citrus fruit whose habitat is not the Old World.
Grapefruit was first described by a British clergyman and naturalist in the book about the
history of Barbados islands in year 1750. “Forbidden fruit of Barbados”, as it was named
in articles, grows in the wild, in the Caribbean Islands, and is the result of natural mix
between a sweet orange of Jamaica and Indonesian pomelos and is real reservoir of
therapeutic substances. The grapefruit procedure prevents mental fatigue, as the
grapefruit essential oil that is used in the procedure is considered to be one of the most
effective natural antidepressants. The procedure increases immunity and promotes the
elimination of toxins from the body. The grapefruit procedure reduces appetite and can
therefore be used in therapy of overweight and reduction of problematic body areas.
Undergoing the procedure on regular basis will significantly reduce the capillary network
on the skin.
