The red bilberry are used in cooking since ancient times. In the Bronze Age burial place

in Denmark there was an earthenware jug with brown sludge found, which turned out to be

some beverage residues. The analysis showed that the drink was made from red bilberry,

wheat, gales and honey.

Red bilberry have antiseptic, healing and toning effect, they clean the body from harmful
