Ingrown hairs

First, we need to find out why your hair is growing in. There may be several reasons for that:

  • Waxing is done using aggressive and chemical kinds of wax, which tears off the live skin during the waxing, and  as the body is trying to heal and recover the skin quickly, it is hard for the hair to break through the tougher skin layer, so it grows sideways under the skin.
  • During waxing it is essential to pull out hairs together with their rootsto reduce unwanted hair growing back. The NORDEN COSMETICS sugar wax serves this purpose perfectly.

To prevent ingrown hairs, the skin must be properly taken care of both before and after waxing. Scrub should be used on regular basis – at least 2 times a week to cleanse the skin of dead cells and the “old, unwanted layer”, so that it was easier for the new and weaker hairs to grow. Normally, the skin renews itself within 20 days; however, if it is observed that the skin regenerates more intensively and sooner, scrubbing is of utmost importance. Thus, make sure you do peeling a day or two before you plan waxing.
